I now live in the USA so I don,t keep in touch with things concerning Mendip as much as I should,I started caving in 1969 and first met Tony(JRat) jumping over a bonfire at the Box barbque that same year was he sober no he was,nt but he was having a good time.Just shocked to hear of his passing(A really nice guy a true son of Mendip)
