From 1960, a comprehensive record of early to current club activity and exploration is contained in the Club Journals and Occasional publications and an archiving project to scan them is ongoing.

Now that the majority are now out of print, the archiving project has the added benefit of making copies accessible to purchase.

Shepton Mallet Caving Club Journal Series 3 No. 3: May 1962
From Fermanagh surveys of Aughaheeran Pot and McGovan's Boulder cave and a report on cave diving are published in this issue of the Shepton Mallet Caving Club Journal. There is also a report on diving Sump Three in Swildon's Hole and an article on the use of Rhodamine B for water tracing.

Shepton Mallet Caving Club Journal Series 3 No. 4: November 1962
This Journal has articles on Grapa Jama in Yugoslavia (now Slovenia), diving in Stoke Lane Slocker, Bottlehead Slocker and exploration of the Double Trouble Series, Swildon's Hole. There is also a report on the formation of the Charterhouse Caving Committee and an obituary for Jack Waddon.

Shepton Mallet Caving Club Journal Series 3 No. 5: May 1963
This issue of the Shepton Mallet Caving Club Journal has articles on climbing Cowsh Avens and diving in Swildom's Hole. There are also reports on discoveries in Ogof Daren Cilau and a dive in Agen Allwedd's downstream sump. Finally there ia an article on bacteriological tests of some cave waters and two book reviews.

Shepton Mallet Caving Club Journal Series 3 No. 6: November 1963
The Series 3 No. 6 issue of the Shepton Mallet Caving Club Journal has a detailed report on the 1963 Gouffre Berger Expedition, a survey of Swildon's Seven and a report on caves on Steepholm Island.
